A husband-wife (Alex) team from Kansas, competing alongside with their 2 kids (Walden & June) and rowdy chocolate lab.

They believe that great BBQ is a labor of love and it’s more than a hobby, it’s a lifestyle.

As a family, they work hard and play hard…and when that itch to BBQ comes on, ya just gotta scratch it. 😉

In their first competition using My Dad's BBQ sauce, they took 7th place in ribs (out of 70) at the Olathe BBQ competition in Olathe, KS! The winds were 20-40mph with a wind chill of 0 degrees. Those are almost impossible conditions for smoking any food. Greg said it was so cold the chicken froze, but it looked great anyway! Check out the photos below.
